What does lounge around mean?

I was a store, and I went from stre to store debating on what to get. So I went back into the same store and the clerk told me I could leave my items at the counter cause I was still shopping, then while looking at plus size clothing anotherclerk went up to me and said "those are plus size" I told her I was looking for something for my friend, then she said "you know we don't appreciate people lounging around inour store" I then pointed to the stuff I was going to buy tht was at the counter and explained to her how the oher clerk put my items there, Once she walked away it left a bad taste in my mouth so I went to checkout, and found aother purse I wanted and paid for my stuff and she said thank you so I made a smirk at her. Was she being rued? I mean she should have seen the other clerk out my stuff at counter. If I wasnt going to buy anything I would have just walked out, Once I paid for the stuff with a 100.00 bill she felt stupid. Was she being rued?
