Or was that my attempt at a smile? What words accompanied my "smile"? (Was it "Hey Tom! How's it going?" or was it "Hey Tom! Late AGAIN?") *note: when I was younger - elementary/middle school - I was extremely shy & most attempts at humor usually came out wrong. Today I laugh when I see old pictures & remember times back then... it was a very awkward time for me.
